About Best Drone Training

Learning to fly drones should feel exciting, not confusing. But between FAA rules, TRUST versus Part 107, and a long list of training providers, courses, and acronyms, it is easy to spend money on things you do not need or focus on the wrong priorities.

Why this site exists

My name is Reede. I started BestDroneTraining.com when I needed drone training myself and could not find straight answers. The information was scattered across FAA documents, forum threads, and course sales pages that all claimed to be the best. So I did the digging, kept notes, and turned those notes into the guides I wish I had found on day one.

This is an independent, one-person site. No training company owns it, sponsors it, or reviews what gets published.

How this site makes money

Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy a course or product through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never decides what gets recommended. If a free option is the right answer (and for recreational flying, it usually is), the guide says so.

Found something wrong?

Drone rules and prices change constantly, and I would rather fix an error than let it mislead someone. If you cannot find what you are looking for, or you spot something outdated, please reach out. I read everything.
